Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead project design, client engagement, and overall project management for a growing engineering team. This role will drive high-quality, cost-effective design solutions that meet client expectations and agency standards, while also fostering business growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a proven track record in project oversight from inception to completion, and an established client network.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute designs that align with and exceed client standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and manage plan submissions with public agencies.
- Drive marketing and business development initiatives, including bringing a book of business for new project opportunities.
- Oversee administrative tasks including invoicing, budget tracking, proposals, and change order management.
- Manage the design team's workflow in collaboration with the Sr. Project Manager, ensuring project timelines and deliverable quality.
- Liaise with agencies to oversee plan approvals, resolve design challenges, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with external consultants and internal departments across project stages.
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with plans and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Monitor project budgets, handle billing, and oversee change orders.
- Promote innovation and incorporate Full Circle Thinking into design and process improvements.
- Represent the firm in client and agency meetings.
- Mentor and train team members, manage staff reviews, and ensure timely submission of timecards and project charges.
- Provide workload forecasts and communicate team resource needs to Sr. Project Manager.
