Software Engineer
Location : Annapolis Junction, MD
Our client, a global leader in designing, manufacturing, and supporting advanced electronic systems for the U.S. Government and Israel's Ministry of Defense, seeks a Software Engineer to support Defense programs. This role involves developing, researching, designing, implementing, testing, and evaluating software and systems in collaboration with hardware development to enable optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate embedded software and firmware to integrate sensors into active protection systems.
- Participate in internal and external design reviews, readiness reviews, and program reviews.
- Analyze software and firmware requirements to determine design feasibility within time and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and other teams to ensure smooth interface integration and meet system performance requirements.
- Develop and oversee software testing procedures and related documentation.
- Provide on-site support for integration events, testing, demonstrations, and customer engagements.
- Work closely with engineers from the parent company based in Israel.
