Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be capable of performing the duties of an Automation Engineer including but not limited to:
- Troubleshoot the plant automation systems to support daily production while maintaining knowledge of the following:
- Rockwell Automation ControLogix, CompactLogic controllers and Logix 5000 programming software
- PowerFlex 700 and 500 series drives
- EtherNet IP networking
- PanelView ME and SE experience
- Rockwell Flex and Point I/O Systems
- Motion Controls
- ControLogix and MO2E motion modules
- Yaskawa MP2300IEC
- Fluid Power Experience
- Pneumatic
- Hydraulic
- Responsible for the overall well-being & improvement of existing automation systems utilizing the following:
- Autocad to document and update existing systems
- RSLogix 5000 and 500 to modify existing programming
- FactoryTalk View ME and SE to modify existing PanelView programs
- Assist Maintenance Manager with mechanical and electrical projects
- Assist Automation Engineer with control system projects
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in related technical field
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability & willingness to support off-shift operations via phone and/or directly onsite when required
- Knowledge of the following systems or similar systems:
- Autocad
- RSLogix 5000 & 500
- FactoryTalk View ME & SE
- ControLogix & CompactLogic
- PowerFlex
- Rockwell Flex and Point I/O Systems
