Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Cleaning:
- Gather data from various sources, including internal systems, databases, and external platforms.
- Clean, organize, and prepare data for analysis by removing inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or duplicates.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the analysis process.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business decisions.
- Use statistical and analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights and solve business problems.
- Create data models, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Reporting and Visualization:
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights.
- Present findings to business teams and leadership, explaining data trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Ensure that reports meet the needs of different stakeholders across departments.
- Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with business stakeholders (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data requirements.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure the availability and reliability of data sources.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business strategies and decisions.
- Data Quality and Integrity:
- Monitor and maintain data quality to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Identify gaps in data and propose solutions to improve data collection processes.
- Perform data validation checks to ensure the completeness and consistency of data.
- Data-Driven Decision Support:
- Support decision-making by providing accurate data-driven insights that help solve business challenges.
- Participate in projects that require data analysis to measure performance, improve processes, or identify business opportunities.
- Trend Monitoring and Forecasting:
- Monitor key business metrics and provide forecasts based on historical data and trends.
- Assist in identifying potential risks, issues, or opportunities based on data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and understandable way.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with databases, data wrangling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
