BULL MOOSE TUBE COMPANY, a progressive manufacturing organization has a Maintenance Supervisor opportunity for experienced leadership candidates at our Trumbull County Masury, Ohio plant site. Excellent benefits and compensation are available.
SUMMARY: Oversees maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accomplishes maintenance staff results by:
- communicating job expectations,
- planning, monitoring, and appraising job results,
- training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and
- initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains reporting procedures and shift production summaries.
- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs and facilitating maintenance corrections to malfunctions within process.
- Implements cost reduction measures.
- Accomplishes work results by establishing priorities and resolving problems.
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
- Acts as a steward for safety regulations and the collective bargaining agreement.
- Reads and interprets manufacturer's equipment and lubrication recommendations.
- Performs required maintenance and repairs PM's and lubrication on all equipment.
- Ability to run all maintenance machinery such as lathes, presses, and grinders.
- Familiarity with PLC's, motor controls, sensors, limit switches and electro/mechanical systems, and 3-phase 480vt equipment.
- Complete knowledge of Company quality requirements.
- Complete knowledge of Company housekeeping rules.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous supervisory experience; preferably of a maintenance team.
- Excellent technical skills in machinery, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, microprocessors, PLCs, and electrical systems/equipment.
- Preventative maintenance and lean skills.
- Strong leadership, team, interpersonal and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a plant environment; preferably in metals, steel, or other related heavy industry.
