Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Shipping and Receiving Team Member to join our team in Sinton, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of tube bundles and steel master coils from flatbeds, rail cars, and other shipments. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing equipment, materials, and tools to facilitate the movement of inventory and shipments. You will also be responsible for complying with all safety, quality, customer focus, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping standards. Our ideal candidate possesses strong verbal and math skills, works well in a team-based environment, and is self-motivated and driven. They should have problem-solving skills, a focus on continuous improvement, and be computer literate. Ability to read a tape measure is required, and proficiency with all forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred. We also require the ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
