Production Associate- RIM and Vacuum Form Operator

Job Summary:As an operator in the RIM room, you will be working independently to operate RIM and Vacuum Form machines, inspect parts for quality, and assist with molding operations while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Hours: Monday-Wednesday 6:00am-6:30pm and Thursday 6:00am-10:00am

Pay: Pay starts at $19.50/hour and progresses up to $20.80/hour

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Promote and maintain a safe, organized work environment

· Prompt and reliable attendance

· Self-motivated and able to work independently

· Work required overtime schedules

· Operate RIM and Vacuum Form machines

· Comply with all safety requirements

· Clean work areas and machinery applying 6S methods daily

· Communicate with and provide feedback to co-workers, Team Leaders, Group Leaders, engineers, management, and others as necessary

· Read work instructions

· Obtain necessary information to complete orders

· Identify parts and inspect parts for quality conformance

· Move part totes and gaylords

· Operate scales for parts count weight

· Assist with molding operator responsibilities

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work at a fast pace

· Ability to work with little to no supervision

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

· The physical nature of the job includes, but is not limited to: seeing, handling, eye-hand-foot coordination, turning, twisting, reaching, standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, carrying 10 or more pounds, and pushing 50 pounds or more.
