Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in fiberglass manufacturing? Can you inspire a team to achieve excellence and improve processes while scaling operations? BullDawg Manufacturing, a leader in high-quality custom Jeep hardtops, is looking for a Plant Manager to lead our team, drive innovation, and build efficient systems for growth. Reporting directly to the CEO/Owner, this is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities for equity ownership and profit-sharing. We are a smaller organization looking for someone to help and assist with the growth of the company.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Daily Operations: Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Build Inventory Systems: Develop and manage robust systems to keep operations running smoothly with minimal downtime.
• Participate in Production: Work with your team to produce fiberglass products at any point in the production process when and where needed (50% of your time).
• Streamline Procurement: Oversee vendor relationships and supply chain operations to meet production needs.
• Drive Team Success: Provide strategic leadership to manufacturing, distribution, and logistics teams with P&L accountability.
• Improve Processes: Continuously refine workflows to increase productivity and enhance efficiency.
• Innovate Products: Lead the development of new Jeep hardtop models and accessories while enhancing existing designs.
• Coordinate Across Functions: Ensure seamless operations by aligning manufacturing, purchasing, distribution, and logistics efforts.
• Grow and Support Employees: Train and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
• Deliver for Customers: Enhance product quality, delivery times, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage Budgets: Plan and oversee operational spending to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure Safety and Compliance: Champion safety programs and compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.

What You Bring:

• Hands-on experience in fiberglass manufacturing, including lamination processes, composite tooling, and assembly.
• Proven leadership in managing and developing teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing workflows, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with inventory management, procurement systems, and supply chain optimization.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills to identify and implement operational improvements.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in composites manufacturing, RTM, and vacuum infusion.
• Proficiency in ERP software and operational planning tools.
• Inventory Control and Procurement
• Experience in developing and managing budgets.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
