Machine Maintenance Technician

Bulldog Steel Fabrication in Madison GA is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician responsible for keeping our facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. Our Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around our facility, and routine preventative maintenance to our machinery and building fixtures.

Essential Position Requirements:

• Maintenance: Using maintenance work order software schedule perform routine maintenance, including inspections, lubrication/calibration of our machines/equipment, and building. such as fixing structural damage, for example, roof, window, door, walls, plumbing, water fixtures, electrical wiring, HVAC, industrial forklifts, autos, and other general upkeep of the building and its infrastructure
• Troubleshooting: Identify and fix problems, such as broken parts, machines, unexpected breakdowns, etc.
• Repair: Replace defective parts, and perform emergency repairs to machines, equipment, forklifts, autos, and building fixtures as needed
• Installation: Install new equipment, parts, systems, upgrades, etc.
• Testing: Run diagnostic tests to check functionality and operation efficiency
• Documentation: Complete reports on work performed, including parts used, time spent, and other significant details using maintenance work order software

Education and Experience:

• High School degree or GED required
• Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role
• Great understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, and electric systems
• Familiarity using various testing, troubleshooting, power and hand tools
