Description:
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tour Guide to join our growing team. As a Tour Guide, you'll be responsible for leading tour groups through our facility while educating them about the production and distillation process here are Bulleit. You will collaborate closely with our Brand Home Manager and other on-site managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs. You will have the opportunity to create & work on exciting experiences for our guests, influence our hospitality strategies, and contribute to the success of a fast-growing industry in bourbon and tourism.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a minimum of 10-day onboarding schedule designed to provide education about the bourbon industry, distillation process, sensory tasting, and brand standards.
- Gain an understanding of Visitor Center operations, experience rotation, guidelines, and best practices.
- Adhere to a work schedule that may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
- Lead groups of adults (25 people) on a tour of our distillery production/process in a safe & orderly fashion within a time schedule
- Provide guests with an authentic experience that allows them to witness first-hand the superior whiskey/bourbon making skills and craftsmanship that goes into each drop of Bulleit Frontier Whiskey
- Educate the consumer about the production and distillation processes behind Bulleit Frontier Whiskey and the unique methods the distillery uses to differentiate its manufacturing techniques from other spirit choices
- Adhere to the Visitor Center’s dress code and present a professional appearance that includes grooming and cleanliness
- Uphold excellent communication skills and the ability to fluently & interestingly tell the brand story
- Maintain the ability to continuously learn and explain all aspects of the distillery and whiskey/bourbon-making process
- Fulfill Private & Special Event shifts that are outside the normal scope of operations
- Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Retail operations (sales, restocking, inventory, etc.)
- Tasting rooms (pouring samples & kitchen support)
Skills & Experience:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Proficiency in smartphone & table use
- Stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Additional Qualifications:
PMM will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the USA in this position and must be 21 years of age. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screen and verification of I-9 Form.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
