What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Buller Automotive, Inc/Abra?
The Controller is responsible for accounting operations for Buller Automotive group and other common ownership ventures. Buller Automotive Inc is a locally owned company and it has 3 Abra Auto Body Franchises.
Essential Job Duties
- Ensure bank deposits are made and recorded daily (includes ACH, wire transfers, etc.)
- Reconcile all bank accounts weekly.
- Prepare reports as requested by management company, general managers/partners, and department managers.
- Prepare tax reports on a timely basis (i.e., sales tax, lease tax and payroll taxes, etc.)
- Complete accurate & timely reporting of financial statements as required by the manufacturer and management company.
- Ensure that all accounting schedules are reviewed, and account reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis timely and accurately
- Meet with each general manager and leadership monthly to review financials, outstanding receivables, parts invoices and credits etc.
- Assist each general manager and their department managers in preparing the monthly and annual forecast.
- Ensure that sales are posted daily and accurately
- Ensure completion of monthly physical inventories and reconcile to the general ledger.
- Oversee human resource function.
Skill/Requirements
- Secondary education in accounting or 5-10 years related experience
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with others, oral and written
- Organizations, multi-tasking; adapts easily to fast-paced environment
- Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
Position is based in a climate controlled, professional office environment with moderate noise levels. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The job may require lifting up to 20 lbs and long periods of sitting while working at desk. In the event that travel is required, must be able to uphold the stress of traveling.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
