Job Overview
Bullet Solar Solutions is looking for several dedicated and skilled Solar Installers to join our team. Our Solar Installers are responsible for the installation of residential solar energy systems, as well as energy storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, familiarity with various hand and power tools, as well as all required safety equipment. They must be committed to safety and quality workmanship. This position requires working at heights and on rooftops, as well as collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient project completion. A company vehicle will be provided to qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts to complete installations safely and effectively.
- Conduct low voltage and high voltage electrical work as needed for system integration.
- Perform fixture installation, ensuring all components are securely mounted and functioning properly.
- Follow blueprints and schematics to build solar arrays according to specifications.
- Plumb solar panel systems to ensure proper alignment and drainage.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any installation issues that arise during the project.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation is essential.
- Experience in low voltage and high voltage electrical work is a plus.
- Knowledge of fixture installation techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to work at heights safely while performing roof installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
- A commitment to safety practices on the construction site is crucial.
- Must be able to pass background check and have a clean driving record.
