As Senior Commercial Counsel, you will work directly with our front office teams on commercial deals across our businesses. These deals will involve financing, trading, licensing, investments and a wide variety of other forms of collaboration with corporates and institutions throughout the digital assets ecosystem. This senior role offers an exciting opportunity to lead in a fast-paced, innovative environment and contribute to Bullish’s growth and success.
Responsibilities:
Provide commercially-minded legal advice on new initiatives, products, service and partnerships.
Structure, negotiate and deliver all the legal aspects of commercial transactions and arrangements.
Assist the front office teams to evaluate and access new business opportunities, creating bespoke structures and documentation as necessary.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization on cross-functional projects to launch new commercial offerings.
Opportunity to expand areas of coverage to include other corporate functions and initiatives based on interest and ability.
Uphold our standards for compliance, ethics and corporate governance.
Build scalable and effective processes for handling increasing throughput of commercial transactions.
Stay abreast of developments in the digital assets industry and implications for our business.
Experience & Qualifications:
US, UK or similar qualified with experience in private practice and in-house at leading firms/companies.
Experienced in different types of financing and commercial transactions in the digital assets ecosystem, financial services and adjacent areas.
Excellent at collaborating and communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization,
Proactive, hands-on, flexible and professional team member.
Able to analyze novel situations, identify risks and opportunities and exercise sound judgment in addressing them.
Knowledgeable or interested in digital assets and fintech businesses, and related financial services regulation.
Financially literate with strong commercial acumen.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $235,000 - $275,000 discretionary annual target bonus performance incentives benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
