What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher (aka Guest Teacher) position at Bullitt County Schools?
Bullitt County Public Schools is always looking for qualified Substitute Teachers .
The minimum qualifications (in order to be Emergency Substitute Certified) are below.
Emergency Certified Guest Teachers / Substitute Teachers
The successful candidate must have earned a minimum of a high school diploma or GED in order to be Emergency Sub Certified .
The Emergency Substitute Certification is issued for 1 year, requires a district application process, and is limited to the specific district .
There is no cost for the Emergency Substitute Certificate.
Regular Certified Guest Teachers / Substitute Teachers
- Candidates holding a BA / BS can apply for the 5 year Substitute Teaching Certificate with the KY Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB). The cost is $15.00.
- Candiates holding a teaching certificate can apply for the 10 year Substitute Teaching Certificate with EPSB. The cost is $15.00.
