We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and customer service, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch support and solutions. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and technical expertise, making it essential for the technician to be adept at troubleshooting and repairing various systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, ensuring all work meets safety standards.
- Supervise and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostics using tools such as Ohmmeters to identify issues in electrical systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve problems with equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with logic controllers, electrical systems, and mechanical components is essential.
- Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when supervising others.
