Responsibilities
- Supervise inmate activities and behavior to ensure compliance with facility rules.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, including monitoring of CCTV systems for security purposes.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on inmate behavior, incidents, and daily activities.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment for all individuals within the facility.
- Assist in the transportation of inmates as required, ensuring their safety during transit.
- Collaborate with law enforcement officials and other staff members to uphold facility standards.
Skills
- Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and practices.
- Proficient in conflict management strategies to effectively handle disputes.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems for monitoring security within the facility.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent report writing skills for documenting incidents accurately.
