The firm focused on identifying and acquiring opportunistic office, industrial, and mixed use assets in Denver, Chicago, and the Carolinas. About the Role:
- As an Acquisitions Analyst, you will play a critical role in underwriting and closing commercial real estate investments.
- You will work closely with senior leadership, including the CEO, COO, and Director of Acquisitions, to execute the firm’s investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Modeling & Underwriting:
- Develop and maintain detailed Excel financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions and investment opportunities.
- Perform in-depth property and market analysis to assess potential returns and risks.
- Utilize Argus software for cash flow modeling, lease analysis, and valuation.
- Spend most of your time focused on financial modeling and analysis.
2. Investment Analysis:
- In partnership with the Acquisitions Team, conduct comprehensive due diligence, including reviewing property-level financials, market data, and legal documentation.
- Prepare investment committee memos and presentations to support decision-making.
3. Transaction Execution:
- Collaborate with the Director of Acquisitions, who will oversee transaction execution.
- Assist in supporting the execution process as needed, including coordinating with brokers, lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
4. Market Research:
- Monitor and analyze market trends in Denver, Chicago, and the Carolinas to identify emerging opportunities.
- Maintain a database of market data and comparable transactions.
5. Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the CEO, COO, and Director of Acquisitions to align acquisition strategies with the firm’s goals.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on the acquisition pipeline and deal progress.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a commercial real estate acquisitions or analyst role, preferably within private equity or investment banking.
- Expert proficiency in Excel financial modeling and Argus software.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the Denver, Chicago, and Carolinas real estate markets is a plus.
- Must be based in Colorado, with the ability to travel as required.
