Flooring Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation and a strong understanding of the restoration industry. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial spaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet.
• Assess job sites to determine the best installation methods and materials needed.
• Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as necessary.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for flooring options.
• Perform restoration tasks as needed, including water damage restoration and buffing floors.
• Read blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate installations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in flooring installation with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Knowledge of the restoration industry, including water damage restoration techniques.
• Familiarity with construction painting and remodeling processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction estimating.
• Strong carpentry skills related to flooring installation.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Pay: From $25.45 per hour
