Landscape & Maintenance Crew Member
Starting Pay: $21.50 / Starting Pay with Drivers License: $22.00
Position Overview: Perform various landscape maintenance services such as mowing, trimming, edging walkways and curbs, property clean-ups, etc. Landscape installation and renovation, irrigation and hardscape installation, proper upkeep of established landscaping, etc. for Commercial Properties and Home Owners Associations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Landscape installation including fabric, sod, seed, decorative rock, mulch, trees, shrubs, perennials, annual flower beds, drainage systems, retaining walls, irrigation modifications, etc.
• Daily mowing, trimming, edging, hand weeding, trash and dog waste stations changes for commercial properties/HOAs.
• Tree and shrub planting, pruning, monitoring and maintenance.
• Seasonal pruning/trimming of trees, shrubs and landscape grasses.
• Seasonal property clean-ups and leaf removals, native mowing.
• Operate light equipment such as hand tools, shovels, rakes, pruners, saws, hedge/brush trimmers
• Operate general maintenance equipment: o Scag/Hustler/Toro Walk-Behind, Riding and Push Mowers o Echo Backpack Blowers, String Timmers, Hedge Trimers o Walk Behind Aerators, Push Spreaders • Operate heavy equipment (not required) o Skid Steer, Vermeer Mini Skid o Ventrac Tractors
• Keep work vehicles and equipment clean and organized.
• Perform such other activities as may be temporarily or permanently assigned.
Requirements:
• Possess and maintain a valid US Driver License, if in a driving position.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more on a daily basis.
• Proficient at operating general equipment as listed.
• Ability to interact professionally with all customers, employees and those from external organizations.
Work Environment: Requires physical abilities such as strength, manual dexterity, and must be able to perform all required functions of this position. While performing the duties of this job, the Crew Member is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, crouch, reach, stoop, crawl or kneel. The position is regularly exposed to outdoor environmental conditions including extreme hot and cold conditions. Additional working conditions may include inadequate lighting, restricted movement and dirty/wet worksites.

Dependability: Must be able to be on time and demonstrate regular attendance.
Job Performance: Must be able to complete duties quickly, efficiently, and safely.
Conduct: Must be able to follow worksite rules and regulations. Employees who violate worksite rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Uniform: Wear steel-toe work shoes and clothing suitable for outdoor work.
Transportation: Employees will meet at the worksite address listed above and will be transported to
individual worksites.
Housing: Employees will live in their own personal housing. There is no employee housing provided for
this job location.
