We are looking for Seasonal Pest Technicians to serve the following areas: Charlotte, Brighton, Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Battle Creek. Our seasonal technicians work 30-40 hours per week from April to September treating customers’ homes for mosquitos, rodents, moles, and general pests.
This is a great position for teachers or students seeking rewarding summer employment. A large number of our seasonal technicians return for multiple summers or move into full-time roles at Bullseye Pest Defense. They discover a passion for pest control and see the career opportunities it offers for the self-starter. We provide full training to help you start down a successful path in pest control. You will learn common identification of pests, their treatments, and how to problem-solve in the field; helping people daily. Our clients appreciate the quality and consistency we provide and tell their friends about us. When you assist in these sales, you make extra money and you get to work with friendly people who appreciate and respect the work you do!
What you do
· Drive company vehicle to customer locations and use various pest equipment to perform services
· Help customers by solving or preventing pest infestations using our proven methods of pest management
· Respond promptly to customer and office requests for services
· Explain services to customers and provide solutions using your growing product knowledge
· Support sales opportunities when clients express needs or when friends and neighbors ask about our services
· Build trust and positive relationships with customers and other team members
What you bring
· Valid driver's license, and 18 or older
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable driving to customer locations, with a company vehicle
· Must be able to pass Michigan Pesticide Applicator Licensing- don’t worry, we will help you!
· Dependable and Trustworthy
· Ability to use mobile apps to complete documentation
· Ability to memorize common pests, read, and follow label instructions

Physical Requirements
Candidates must meet the following physical job requirements to safely perform duties, with or without accommodations:
- Work in all weather conditions while carrying necessary equipment
- Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, and confined spaces.
- Perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, walking, crouching, or crawling for extended periods.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
Compensation
Pay is based on experience, starting at $16- $18, plus flat rate commission on sales (even passive referrals), Tips, and a Bonus at the end of the season.
