Job Description
Installers are responsible for installing window treatments as requested by the customer, following the details set forth by the Sales Manager and adhering to all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform in-home measurements and installations of our custom window treatment product lines; primarily roller/solar shades, wood blinds, soft shades; bonus if knowledge in shutters, exterior shades, and/or drapery
· Ability to install and program motorized products and home automation
· Arrive on time and in Bumble Bee Branded apparel to pick up supplies for the day if necessary. Supplies may be direct shipped to location of the install.
· Meet physical labor demands to properly install jobs.
· Follow direction from General Manager or Sales Manager to ensure timely completion.
· Review job(s) for the day based on work orders.
· Confirm that van/trailer is prepared for the day including the following:
o Ladders and any necessary tools for install and clean-up.
o All products for each project to be completed that day.
o Additional tools or materials as needed.
· Complete work as described in work order and leave a positive lasting impression with our customers by demonstrating how to use the product before leaving the job site.
· Update CRM and take photos of completed work and collect final payment.
· Complete any on-site cleanup needed and ensure that all ladders and equipment are properly stored away for transport to next location.
· If capable, diagnose and assess repairs in field or as asked by Sales Manager. Communicate repair details, parts, etc needed and complete repair.

Additional Requirements
Insurance
HPB Blinds and Shutters LLC requires all independent contractors to carry Workers Compensation/General Liability Insurance. Workers Compensation Insurance must be verifiable via the public website prior to the subcontractor obtaining payment.
Each subcontractor is covered under his or her own plan. The desired coverage amounts are listed below:
Commercial General Liability Insurance:
· $1,000,000.00 Each Occurrence Limit (Bodily Injury and Property Damage)
· $2,000,000.00 General Aggregate per Project
· $2,000,000.00 Products & Completed Operations Aggregate
· $1,000,000.00 Personal and Advertising Injury Limit
Worker’s Compensation and Employers’ Liability Insurance:
· $1,000,000.00 Each Accident
· $1,000,000.00 Each Employee for Injury or Disease
· $500,000.00 Aggregate for Injury by Disease
Experience
Subcontractors should have a minimum of 2 years of window treatment installation experience. An acceptable substitute for this requirement is demonstrated proficiency through external certifications (Hunter Douglas Certification or other) or evidence of a significant number of previous successful installations.
