Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team.
We allow our supervisors to work supplemental floor shifts to maximize their gross incomes, as well as hourly management shifts. The best of both worlds.
This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while overseeing the daily operations of the front of house staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by training staff on best practices and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate processing of transactions using POS systems.
- Assist in food preparation and production as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage food management processes and maintain quality control.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and kitchen spaces.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, policies, and performance expectations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the culinary or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food production techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- A background in bar management or supervising kitchen operations is a plus.
