Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position is essential for ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience during their stay.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms (up to 11 per day), including dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged.
- Replenish guest supplies, such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities as needed.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them promptly to management.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Adhere to all hotel policies regarding safety, security, and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must speak English (bilingual in Spanish a plus)
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff members.
