The Senior Manager, Global Tax Reporting will be a member of our global tax team and report directly to the Director, Global Tax Reporting. The primarily responsibilities of this position are to manage the global tax reporting and ETR forecasting process and drive continuous improvement to the global standardized tax reporting process.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage the quarterly and annual global income tax reporting process
Manage the forecasting process of the global effective tax rate (ETR) and cash tax model to provide better ETR
Assist in tax special projects involving US and non-US technical analysis, modeling of book and cash tax consequences of tax planning strategies, and project management and execution support for implementation
Be a member of the global tax team creating a culture of control and efficiency in income tax accounting
Manage the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual global tax reporting, deferred tax assets and liabilities, valuation allowance, SEC tax footnotes and disclosures, Sox controls as they related to income tax reporting and management reporting
Provide tax accounting support and ongoing training for regions
Manage a global effective tax rate and cash tax model, using these tools to influence tax planning and other opportunities
Track and monitor global Uncertain Tax Positions and income tax audits
Skills/Experience Requirements:
Undergraduate or advanced degree in accounting. Advanced tax degree would be a plus
6 years of experience with ASC 740 in a large, multi-national, corporate tax or accounting firm environment
CPA certification
Well versed in US GAAP accounting, tax, and reporting
Experience with the tax accounting impact of complex tax transactions
Experience managing a large, global income tax provision process
Ability to model tax impacts of transactions
Comprehensive understanding of the impact of taxes on the financial statements
