What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Dog Trainer position at Bunk and Biscuit?
Bunk and Biscuit in Niles, MI is expanding our training programs and is now hiring an experienced Dog Trainer. We offer balanced training options.
The ideal candidate for this position will have professional experience in the following areas:
Teaching dog’s basic obedience commands using a variety of methods
Leash Training
Puppy socialization and housebreaking
Teaching puppy and adult obedience in a group class setting as well as private classes
Motivated and outgoing personality with great customer service and ability to communicate with clients about their dog’s progress
Have a passion for working with dogs and a strong, self-motivated work ethic
Agility and Trick training is a plus
CGC certification is a plus
General cleaning and upkeep of office and training areas
If you are looking for an exciting career working with dogs with room for advancement, Bunk and Biscuit is the place for you. Candidates must be over 18, responsible and reliable. Starting wage will be based on experience and certifications. Tips, averaging an additional $2-3 an hour, are included after 90 days. Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical, dental and vision insurance are also offered after 90 days.
