The Environmental Science Department at Bunker Hill Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Survey of Renewable Energy (ENV-111) in Fall 2025. This 4-credit course supports Environmental Science majors and fulfills a General Education requirement for all programs. The course explores the role of renewable energy in addressing environmental and economic challenges. Topics include solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, biomass, and emerging energy technologies. Students will also examine nonrenewable energy sources. The laboratory component emphasizes energy models, hands-on skills, data analysis, and scientific report writing.
The course will be taught in person.

Requirements:
- Masters degree in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience teaching at the community college or university level.
- Ability to work with diverse faculty, staff, and student populations.
- Availability to teach in person during evening hours.

- Familiarity with laboratory methods, data collection, and technology.
