Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated TRIO Success Coach to join our team at Bunker Hill Community College. The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program at BHCC aims to increase the retention and graduation rates of first-generation and low-income students, as well as individuals with disabilities who are enrolled in the program.
The TRIO Success Coach will provide individualized and strengths-based coaching to an assigned caseload of students. They will initiate proactive, consistent contact with TRIO students, build rapport with students, and serve as the assigned students' designated student success coach over the course of their academic time span at the college.
The successful candidate will maintain accurate, organized, and detailed case management process and procedures, including assessments, note taking and student records, develop and maintain reports as assigned, and maintain appropriate filing and documentation per FERPA and TRIO guidelines.
The TRIO Success Coach will also act as liaison and TRIO SSS advocate by working with various campus departments and identifying and recommending appropriate services designed to address student needs.

Qualifications
- Masters degree in Education, Counseling, Human Services, Psychology or a closely related field; three years of experience and/or training involving academic advising, career development, case management, which can be substituted for comparable experience in an institute of higher education, TRIO program or client-based community organization; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in career development, case management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in student information systems.
