Production Assembly - Part-Time 1st Shift

This is a part-time shift. Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am-2:00pm.

Job Summary

Bunn-O-Matic Corporation (BUNN) is seeking candidates for our Assembly role. This position would manually assemble beverage machines and dispensers of varying complexity per documented work instructions. This position offers competitive wages and paid holidays. Duties

• Performs a variety of repetitive manual operations including, but not limited to, testing, installation or manufacture of wiring harnesses, circuit boards, compressors motors, hydraulic and structural components of various sizes and weights, etc.
• Operates hand tools, power tools and production equipment to produce sub-assemblies and completed units.
• Records data.
• Records test and inspection data.
• Maintains housekeeping of work area.
• Actively participates in the Bunn-O-Matic Corporation Quality Improvement Process.
• Applies process to a set of work instructions and perform their duties
• Assists team in meeting set performance goals including, but not limited to safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work in Creston, IA.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Good attendance record.
• Ability to exercise initiative and complete assignments efficiently and on time
• Readily perceives and effectively responds to details essential to assembly operations.
• Ability to understand and apply workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to manipulate tools and assembly components involving fine and gross motor skills on a repetitive basis.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Vision sufficient to detect minor flaws and errors and perform essential job functions in a safe manner.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing environment, not climate controlled.
• Tasks involve standing or walking up to 100 percent of work time.
• Safety glasses required at all times and appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) where designated.
