Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Geotechnical / Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team. As a member of our team, you will work alongside site managers, general contractors, and engineers to perform inspections and sampling services. Your responsibilities will include monitoring general contractor activities, onsite testing, and reporting of earthwork and soil construction as well as geosynthetic baseliner, closure cap, piping, and gas extraction systems. You will also collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing to ensure construction standards are being met.
This engineering technician position offers a competitive salary, depending on experience and certification, as well as generous benefits. Requirements
- Routine education and experience in the field
- Schedule flexibility
- Ability to work out of town for several weeks at a time
- Proficient in using smartphones and computers for communication and recording time worked
- Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs walk on slopes and perform the physical requirements of the position
- Efficiently work with hand tools and testing apparatuses
- Able to pass a drug screening
- Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
