- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide direct support to individuals with memory care needs, dementia, and other disabilities.
- Administer medications as prescribed while ensuring proper documentation.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following hygiene protocols.
- Engage with patients through meaningful interactions to promote emotional well-being.
- Assist in mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Skills
- Strong understanding of memory care practices and dementia care techniques.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other disabilities is preferred.
- Proficient in medication administration and basic first aid procedures.
