Company Description Site and Utility Construction Company serving the
Delmarva Peninsula with primary operations in Sussex County Delaware.
We are seeking an individual to efficiently administer the company accounting systems and procedures focused on accounts payable, payroll, and human resources. This is a full-time on-site role located in Selbyville, DE.
- Administer the accounts payable system and ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Ensure vendors have updated and accurate files and ensure timely processing of lien waivers.
- Work with staff to ensure proper job cost allocation and general ledger postings.
- Process payroll; review and edit hours submitted by hourly workforce; track time off, process taxes, garnishments and 401k contributions.
- On-board new hires, process employee benefit changes and requests, see that employee benefit issues are resolved and questions answered.
Ideal candidate will have Associates degree or higher with strong financial skills and 2 years in an accounting or bookkeeping role. Must have experience and working knowledge of Windows based PC and Excel spreadsheets and MS Office. Financial accounting systems experience, human resources and construction industry experience is a plus.
Salary : $45,000 - $65,000
