What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pattern Maker Designer Manager position at Bunzl Distribution?
Kishigo, a manufacturer of High Visibility Safety apparel and accessories, has an immediate opening for a Manager, Pattern Maker Designer . This position will develop and create patterns for a wide range of garment types. You will interpret the design requirements set out by the Product Development team, and be responsible for making sure fit, construction, and design intent are all embodied in final product. You should be knowledgeable about current construction and manufacturing standards, and be able to produce patterns that are equal to the manufacturing process. You are time sensitive, and able to work on several projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities :
- Develop accurate and consistent patterns with ability to balance function, aesthetic value, and manufacturing ease.
- Will be responsible for implementing and insuring pattern designs comply with ANSI / ISEA 107 and ASTM sizing standards.
- Final grading and finished dimension charts for both Product Development and Production Patterns.
- Support Product Development with Tech Pack information.
- Work closely with sample room, making sure samples are sewn as required.
- Identify potential production, quality or cost issues and make appropriate recommendations while maintaining design and fit intent.
- Collaborate with Product Development Staff, Quality Control, Production, and Management as necessary to solve any production issues related to patterns or garment construction.
- Research new ideas and technologies that will be used to develop and produce products going into the future.
Requirements :
Kishigo CA salary range : $85K - $100K plus bonus eligibility based on experience, education and geographic location
