Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships
- Collaborate on inventory control strategies, including reviewing and eliminating obsolete materials
- Utilize data analysis to optimize inventory turnover and meet customer demands effectively
- Collaborate efficiently with internal departments to ensure seamless operations
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing or relevant business roles, preferably in a distribution environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Experience with AS400 system preferred
