Pay Range:

Job Summary:
Rainbow Cone is looking for energetic, hardworking leaders to help provide a fun, welcoming atmosphere that sets us apart from all other ice cream shops. As a team lead, you will take on responsibilities assigned by your manager to ensure day to day operations run smoothly. Our goal will be to help you develop necessary skills to become a successful manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers, encouraging the guest to return again to generate repeat business.
- Enforce a clean and tidy work environment.
- Ensure the team has what they need to succeed by keeping our shop stocked and ready for any rush of customers
- Create a culture of hospitality that inspires our team to take care of each other and uphold product quality standards.
· Training new employees
· Building up and breaking down vendor stands for events
Requirements
· Serv Safe Certification
· Special Event Food Vendor Certification (Can be obtained anytime)
· Summer Festival Food Vendor Certification (Can only be obtained for the Summer Season)
· Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
· Ability to drive company vehicles including a straight truck
· Ability to drive automatic transmission vehicles
· Ability to work on one’s feet for extended periods of time
· Ability to scoop ice cream for extended periods of time
· Must be able to work well with a team- we’re all about teamwork!
· Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Must have excellent communication skills, this includes listening & following directions
· Must have a positive attitude, no matter what!
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate, whether written or verbally
- Must be at least 18 years old*
- Current food handler’s card preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Prior cashier experience a plus
- Flexibility of hours
- Customer service skills
- Reliable Transportation is a must
