What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Captain position at Buona?
Truck Captain/Driver - MUST BE 19 TO DRIVE
No additional license is required to drive our trucks, outside of a valid driver's license.
Starting at $15/hour tips, based on experience
As the Rainbow Cone Truck Captain, you are responsible for not only driving and overseeing the operations of the truck, you are part of the team and must help with the daily business.
Other duties include:
- Motivating the team
- Providing excellent customer service through order taking/prep
- Handling customer complaints
- Monitoring business operations
- Assisting the team as needed (duties may include: running, cleaning, stocking, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be 19 years or older to drive
- Must be able to drive 30 foot truck - no additional license is required outside of a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or GED certificate a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate, whether written or verbally
- Current food handler’s card preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Prior cashier experience a plus
- Flexibility of hours
- Customer service skills
- Reliable Transportation is a must
