Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Deli Staff Member to join our team! If you have a passion for food, basic knife skills, and experience handling deli meats and cheeses, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve deli meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and other food items according to company standards
- Operate slicers, scales, and other deli equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and prep areas
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety compliance
- Assist customers with orders, provide recommendations, and ensure excellent service
- Stock and rotate deli products to maintain freshness
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a deli or food service environment required
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs at times.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
