Burbank YMCA Horace Mann Children's Center- Assistant / Lead Teacher
Fulltime/$18-$22hr./Based on education & experience.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Preschool Teacher plans, organizes and delivers a high-quality play-based, developmentally appropriate preschool program, providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships, and build self-reliance through the Y’s values of caring, respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, and citizenship.
Qualifications
- At least 12 units in child development.
- AA in Child Development or BA in Child Development preferred.
- Early childhood experience and at least 1 year classroom experience.
- Experience working with children ages 6 weeks through 5 years of age.
- Experience with NAEYC Standards a plus.
- Experience with the Reggio philosophy a plus
