The Plaintiff Personal Injury Case Manager will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing personal injury cases from inception through resolution. This individual will be responsible for coordinating case activities, communicating with clients and medical professionals, and ensuring that all legal and procedural requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a thorough understanding of personal injury law, and a passion for providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, including inputting new client information into case management program, opening insurance claims, tracking deadlines, coordinating with attorneys, and ensuring all case-related tasks are completed timely and efficiently.
- Medical and Insurance Coordination: Communicate with medical providers, automobile insurance companies, and other parties involved in the case to gather necessary information, such as medical records, bills, automobile insurance coverage details, and health insurance subrogation and liens.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on case progress, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Ensure clients are informed and comfortable throughout the legal process.
- Investigation and Evidence Gathering: Conduct investigations to gather evidence, including obtaining witness statements, reviewing accident reports, and collecting other relevant information to support the case.
- Settlement and Negotiation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of settlement documents.
- Administrative Support: Manage case-related administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, organizing files, and maintaining case databases

Requirements
- Education: Associate's degree or higher.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury case management or a similar role within a law firm. Experience with plaintiff-side personal injury cases is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of personal injury law, including familiarity with legal procedures, insurance processes, medical terminology and medical records requests, including use of Arctrieval.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in handling case documentation and legal procedures.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in case management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and legal research tools, including Clio.
Working Conditions:
- Hours: Full-time, in person, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required.
- Environment: Office setting with occasional travel to meet clients or attend court proceedings as needed.
