Project Engineer – Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
- Design commercial, residential, and industrial developments, greenways, and parks.
- Develop storm drainage systems, water and wastewater systems, roadways, and soil erosion control measures.
- Coordinate permitting, bid administration, and construction oversight.
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout project lifecycles.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a team-oriented work environment.
- Ensure projects stay within budget and schedule constraints.
- Conduct zoning and permitting research to support design efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing Professional Engineering (PE) registration (or ability to obtain within one year).
- Strong leadership abilities to guide engineering designers and technicians.
- Proficiency in land development engineering, utility design, site grading, and stormwater management.
- Experience working on urban roadway systems, rural highways, sidewalks, and shared-use paths.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to meeting project deadlines.
