Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project planning, coordination, and execution with minimal oversight.
- Independently develop conceptual designs through construction drawings for multiple small to mid-sized projects.
- Perform plumbing calculations, system design, and equipment layout for assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, energy standards, and LEED requirements.
- Apply expertise in gas piping, waste and vent systems, domestic water distribution, and kitchen plumbing design.
- Collaborate with project management, construction teams, service departments, and trade partners.
- Conduct economic and energy analyses to optimize system performance.
- Assist in field engineering, trade coordination, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain the highest quality in design drawings, models, and documentation.
- Provide leadership and oversight to junior design team members as needed.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Manage time efficiently to meet project schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (required).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- 3 years of experience with a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor or engineering consulting firm.
- Strong knowledge of engineering and design fundamentals, mechanical systems, and commercial plumbing applications.
- Thorough understanding of building codes, industry standards, and energy efficiency guidelines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (start time between 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM; end time between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM).
