In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative, high-performance plumbing systems for commercial and industrial buildings. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with top-tier professionals, tackle complex design challenges, and make a tangible impact on high-profile projects.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of a company that values expertise and innovation, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, energy standards, and LEED requirements.
  • Apply expertise in gas piping, waste and vent systems, domestic water distribution, and kitchen plumbing design.
  • Collaborate with project management, construction teams, service departments, and trade partners.
  • Conduct economic and energy analyses to optimize system performance.
  • Assist in field engineering, trade coordination, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain the highest quality in design drawings, models, and documentation.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to junior design team members as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and project stakeholders.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
  • 3 years of experience with a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor or engineering consulting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering and design fundamentals, mechanical systems, and commercial plumbing applications.
  • Thorough understanding of building codes, industry standards, and energy efficiency guidelines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Key Competencies:

  • Proactive & Solution-Oriented: Ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong grasp of mechanical design principles, systems, and applications.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Project Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Drive for continuous improvement and professional growth.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Requires prolonged sitting, standing, reaching, and computer use.
  • Clear visual and auditory abilities for effective communication and project execution.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (start time between 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM; end time between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM).
  • Additional benefits include health insurance, 401K, profit-sharing, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
