Land Survey Technician

We are looking for a detail-driven Land Survey Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to projects that shape communities and infrastructure. In this role, you’ll play a key part in processing critical survey data, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining the high standards that define our success. Key Responsibilities
- Apply intermediate-level land and construction surveying procedures, techniques, and workflows.
- Read and interpret complex plan sets, blueprints, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance (QA/QC) standards throughout projects.
- Troubleshoot field and office issues as they arise.
- Develop and refine communication and leadership skills.
- Utilize survey equipment/software and data collection applications effectively.
- Learn to manage project schedules and coordinate field crews.
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple facets of a project efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying or equivalent is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in land surveying, including topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, construction stakeout, and as-built surveying.
- Proficiency in Carlson, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D software.
- Ability to draft topographic surfaces (TIN), cross sections, and profiles.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to attend site meetings as needed.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Essential Functions
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with occasional overtime as needed).
- Manage file organization and scheduling for assigned projects.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
