The Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Houston store and support the online e-commerce platform. In this role, you’ll partner with the Store Manager to deliver excellent customer service, oversee day-to-day operations, and play a key role in planning in-store events.
This position offers hourly pay starting at $16.00–$16.50 during the probationary period, with the potential to earn up to $18.00 per hour after 90 days, based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving Sales: Support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals by assisting customers, sharing product knowledge, and creating an inviting shopping environment.
- Event Planning: Take ownership of planning and coordinating events, including in-store promotions and on-site events, to engage customers and drive sales.
- Supporting Daily Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and merchandising to ensure the store runs smoothly.
- Team Support: Help train and motivate team members to perform at their best. Act as a role model by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Piercing Procedures: Assist in ensuring all piercing services are performed safely, professionally, and in compliance with company policies. Training may be provided if needed.
- Handling E-Commerce: Support online order fulfillment and customer inquiries, working closely with the Store Manager to ensure a seamless e-commerce experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous retail experience, preferably in jewelry or fashion, with some leadership responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- A customer-focused mindset and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Event planning experience or enthusiasm for coordinating creative and engaging events.
- Willingness to learn piercing procedures and uphold the highest safety standards.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is a plus, but not required.
