Summary You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (POLICY AND PLANNING) in the CAPITAL PLANNING AND NAVY MARINE CORPS INTRANET (NMCI) BRANCH (BUPERS 071) of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL. Responsibilities You will provide technical expertise in development of project requirements and Statement of Work (SOW). You will Coordinate site surveys; review contractor proposals, specifications and cost estimates for technical accuracy. You will develop customer support policies, procedures and standards in compliance with Navy Next Generation (NGEN) requirements. You will validate delivery of NMCI services to meet local and remote commands' IT order requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : 1. Develop and maintain strategic Information Technology (IT) plans and policies. 2. Define current and future business environments, infrastructures and architectures. 3. Provide technical expertise in development of IT project requirements and Statement of Work (SOW). 4. Coordinate site surveys; review contractor proposals, specifications and cost estimates for technical accuracy.
