This position is located at Bureau of Fiscal Service; Executive Director, Administrative Resource Center; Division of Procurement Services; Non-Treasury Acquisitions Branch. Duties
As a Contract Specialist, you will :
- Receive procurement requests and determine type of requirement.
- Conduct research to determine the nature and adequacy of Government specifications, market conditions, ability of industry to modify existing goods or services, and delivery requirements.
- Prepare requests for quotations, requests for proposals or invitation for bids after completing all Treasury and Government required and necessary acquisition planning documentation and research.
- Evaluate bids, offers, or quotes to determine responsiveness and compliance with regulations, adequacy in meeting the Government's needs

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes :
3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
To qualify on the basis of graduate education, graduate education in one or a combination of the following fields is required : accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. For the GS-11, graduate education in excess of the first 36 semester hours is creditable.How You Will Be Evaluated
