Reports to (N 1) : Chromatography Laboratory Supervisor
FLSA : Non-Exempt
Hours Worked : Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week.
However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
Compensation Range : $20.50 - $22.89 an hour (., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
Position Summary :
The Laboratory Analyst II, Chromatography is responsible for preparing and analyzing a wide variety of client samples using various chromatographic techniques and instruments.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Preparing samples, standard reference materials, reagents, and / or solutions.
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area.
- Performing and documenting routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation.
- Documenting / recording raw data and results of analyses.
- Executing analytical procedures in accordance with the appropriate regulations.
- Basic method development, such as deciding oven temperature, oven ramp rate, gas flow, column type, and other similar GC method parameters.
- Follow the guidelines set forth with the company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Comply with company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
- Follows the guidelines set forth in the company Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Adhere to the requirements of the company Quality System.
- Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload.
