Position Title: Coding Consultant
Entity: Consumer Products Services Division

Reports to: Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Hours Worked: Part-time, 4-8 hours total Monday through Friday
Position Summary:
The Coding Consultant is responsible for assisting the client with the augmentation of it’s large data platform. Specifically, they will utilize Python, Oracle, Visual Studio Code, Excel macro Development, Power BI and Visual Basic to create an implement the changes required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence.
- Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
- Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
- Spot key performance indicators with apt objectives
- Analyze pervious and present data for better decision making
- Transform business requirements into technical publications
- Build multi-dimensional data models
- Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models
- Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts
- Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI
- Define and design new systems
- Take care of data warehouse development
- Make essential technical and strategic changes to improvise present business intelligence systems
- Identify the requirements and develop custom charts accordingly
- SQL querying for better results
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Proficiencies:
- Understanding of documentation and bug tracker systems: Atlassian Jira & Confluence
- Extensive knowledge in RDBMS – MS SQL Server, Oracle, highly knowledgeable in structured query languages: TSQL, PYSQL, PLSQL
- Strong knowledge in Python programming against very large (3 billion ) row data sets.
- Extensive experience in Databricks platform.
- Experience with MS ETL systems – SSIS, Azure Data Factory
- Experienced with design product lifecycle management system ENOVIA
- Experienced in with SAP backend processes.
- Experience in Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code
- Experienced Data visualization software: Power BI.
- Experience in Excel Macro Development – Visual Basic
- Prior experience in P&G systems in a plus
- Experienced in leveraging Service Now (SNOW) for requesting of resourcing.

Education and Experience:
- Degree requirement: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience with power BI and coding.
