Job Title: Master Special Inspector – New York City
SUMMARY:
Join Our Team as a Master Special Inspector for immediate Building, Transportation, & Infrastructure Projects!
Are you ready to take on dynamic challenges in the heart of New York City's construction landscape? We are currently seeking driven and qualified Special Inspectors to join our team for immediate project needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
:
o Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering or Architecture preferred not required
o 3 years’ experience inspecting construction work in the city of NY, varied in Size and complexity.
o Proficiency with Chapter 17 of the NYC Building Code
:
o Currently holds a valid certification in Any Or All of the following:
§ AWS Certified Welding Inspector or ICC Structural Welding Inspector
§ ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Inspector
§ ICC Concrete Special Inspector
§ ICC Masonry Special Inspector
§ Master of Special Inspections
o Current training in crucial safety protocols, including fall protection, scaffolding and ladders, work-zone safety.
o Minimum of 10-hour OSHA construction safety certification.

o Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients at all organizational levels
o Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes
o Demonstrated ability to deliver inspection reports promptly and accurately
o Possession of a reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver’s license
o Willingness to pursue additional certifications to enhance professional skills and expertise
o Ability to work well as a team.
o Familiarity with relevant construction industry codes and regulations.
o Willingness to obtain additional certifications.
Here's a breakdown of what we provide:
Hourly Rate: $45 - $55
