**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team at Burford Corporation. In this role, you will support our operations by performing mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electronic and pneumatic tooling.
About the Role
- Perform assembly operations to produce complete products directed by manufacturing schedules.
- Use various fixtures, hand tools and special tools, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair products.
- Perform quality control visual inspections or functional operation of material/product before and after assembly.
- Utilize good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to check electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies.
- Notify supervision discrepancies of work orders, material lists, assembly instructions, or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly is necessary.
- Ability to read and interpret visual aids such as drawings/blueprints.
- Familiarity with computers and related technology.
