Job Description:
We are seeking a Database Engineer with strong expertise in data modeling and database design for a Cards and Payments platform. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of SQL, backend technologies, and API integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and optimize Logical & Physical Data Models for a Cards & Payments platform.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data management.
Understand DB schema design and its integration with backend/frontend business logic.
Collaborate with multiple teams and Product Owners to understand requirements.
Work within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework.
Required Skills:
Strong DB design concepts and SQL querying expertise.
Knowledge of backend technologies (APIs, Java preferred).
Experience in distributed databases, NoSQL, or big data technologies.
Deep domain knowledge in Cards & Payments.
Exposure to credit card platforms and front/middle/back-office systems.
Understanding of emerging payment technologies & fintech trends.
