Here is the job description:
- Responsible for test planning, performing manual and automated testing, tracking & managing test execution, defect triage, and test status reporting.
- Automate assigned feature using existing RBC iCAP Framework
- Create and review the test plan, Test Scenarios, and traceability matrix
- Test data set up and coordinate with other impacted team for test data
- Ensure test cases are integrated into automation framework (iCAP)
- Coordinate with impacted application team for end-to-end/integration testing AND work with BAs/business users for UAT support
Must-have
- 3 years of experience designing test cases with a focus on optimized test design techniques with automated testing (cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases)
- API testing experience using Postman/SOAPUI
- DB testing experience (SQL)
- Experience in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools, e.g., SoapUI, Selenium, Appium, UFT/Lean UFT/Rest Assured/Robot Framework, TestNG, and script development
- Provide effort estimates for all QE and testing-related deliverables and tasks.
Nice-to-have
- QA-related certification. E.g. ISTQB, Agile testing
- Test management tools like QTest
- Experience using test case optimization tools such as ConformIQ, Hexawise, iCAP, etc.
- Prior experience working in a bank or financial institution.
